Personal Assistant/ Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Assistant/ Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health status is maintained
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA privacy regulations
• Support clients with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
• Provide patient observation and monitor behavioral or health changes, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and adherence to infection control protocols

Experience

• Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dementia, or memory care needs is advantageous
• Familiarity with care plans and documentation requirements such as HIPAA compliance and social work practices
• Hands-on experience with patient observation, assisted living procedures, hospice care or long-term care settings is desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or equipment handling
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting residents’ social needs

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
