Global Ship Services is a multinational ship services company headquartered in the USA. We are seeking a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (International) at our Karachi office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and respond to emails on behalf of the Managing Director in a professional and timely manner
- Handle phone calls, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments on behalf of the Managing Director
- Maintain and organize the Managing Director’s calendar, including reminders and follow-ups
- Prepare, review, and organize documents, reports, and correspondence
- Manage administrative and personal tasks as assigned
- Manage and update company social media accounts and the Managing Director’s LinkedIn profile
- Create basic designs, presentations, and posts using Canva
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders
- Arrange travel, bookings, and itineraries when required
- Maintain proper filing systems and records
- Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of Canva and social media management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
