About the Role Specialists in Dermatology is looking for a sharp, organized, and tech-savvy Personal Assistant to support our Revenue Cycle Manager. This is an in-person role at our main office, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, picks things up quickly, and wants to grow with a team that values initiative and adaptability. You'll be the right hand to a key leader in our practice, helping keep the day running smoothly so our Revenue Cycle Manager can focus on high-impact work.
What You'll Do
- Manage the Revenue Cycle Manager's calendar, meetings, and daily priorities
- Draft, organize, and follow up on communications (email, phone, internal messages)
- Track tasks, deadlines, and projects, making sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and reports; take notes in meetings
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to streamline workflows, draft communications, summarize information, and boost productivity
- Handle sensitive patient and financial information with full confidentiality (HIPAA)
- Coordinate logistics, and jump in on ad-hoc projects as needed
- Learn our revenue cycle processes and gradually take on more responsibility
What We're Looking For
- Tech-savvy - comfortable picking up new software quickly (Microsoft Office, EMA, scheduling tools, etc.)
- Knows AI - actively uses ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools and knows how to apply them to real work
- Highly organized - you keep calendars, tasks, and files in order without being reminded
- Strong communicator - clear, professional, and warm in writing, in person, and on the phone
- Teachable - open to feedback, eager to learn, and takes ownership of growth
- Reliable and discreet - punctual, trustworthy, and able to handle confidential information
- Detail-oriented - with strong follow-through
- Available in person - at our main office during business hours
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Some background in a medical or healthcare setting (front office, MA, scribe, billing, etc.)
- Familiarity with revenue cycle, medical billing, or insurance terminology
- Current college student or recent grad - a degree is not required; we care more about work ethic, curiosity, and ability

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
