Responsibilities

First and foremost understand that the position of Med Tech is only one part of the position.

The position we are looking for will be working on the floor as a Caregiver some days and a Med Tech other days.

• Care for the elderly
• Lead by example and with compassion
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Administer Medications
• Process orders
• Transcribe after visit summeries and outside provider notes
• Communicate with providers regarding resident statuses, orders, or concerns
• Be pleasant and provide a supportive environment for residents and staff
• Understand and follow Med administration policies and procedures
• Act quickly and calmly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Knowledge of AL Advantage and QMAR
• Experience with Pharmerica, VA, Providence Elderplace, and Kaiser pharmacies
• How to process orders: Check system process
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.50 to 20.50

• 8 hour shift

• Will require at least one weekend day depending on shift.

Experience:

• Experience in caring for others
• Medication Administration preferred

Shift availability:

• Swing Shift 2pm-10pm
• Day Shift 6am-2pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
