Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Open Shifts:

• Full-Time:

  • 7:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

  • 3:00 P.M. – 11:00 P.M.

• Part-Time shifts available

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Position Summary

Langdon Place of Portsmouth is seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our care team. PCAs provide essential hands-on support to residents, helping ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Provide emotional support and promote resident comfort and independence

• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment

• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines

• Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members

Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Qualifications

• Previous PCA, CNA, LNA, or caregiving experience preferred (training available)

• Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused

• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
