Personal Care Worker / Homemaker – Home Health (Part-Time)

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker or Homemaker, you’ll support clients in their homes with:

Personal Care:

• Bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, peri-care, skin/nail care
• Assistance with ambulation and exercises

Homemaking Tasks:

• Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation
• Running errands, grocery shopping, prescription pick-up

Other Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report changes in condition
• Follow a written Plan of Care
• Document services and observations accurately
• Promote infection control and safety
• Attend required trainings and team meetings

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, and follow care plans
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel across Colorado Springs & Fountain
• Experience in healthcare/home health preferred/ Homemaking Industry

Preferred but not required for Personal Care Worker:

• PCP Certificate
• at least 6 months of experience in home care or healthcare

Preferred but not required for Homemaker:

• at least 6 months of experience in home care or healthcare, or homemaking Industry

Schedule

• Day shifts only
• Flexible part-time hours, and you choose your availability
• Opportunities for full-time hours may be available after a successful performance review, upon request.
