Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

A fast-growing plaintiff personal injury law firm with offices across New York City is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join its dynamic team. The firm handles a wide range of personal injury cases and offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process in personal injury matters—from intake through trial preparation. You will play a key role in case management, client communication, discovery, and trial organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and motions
• Prepare and file legal documents in state and federal courts (via NYSCEF and ECF)
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, and court personnel
• Organize and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other case materials
• Support trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness preparation, and trial binders

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred)
• Strong knowledge of New York court filing procedures (NYSCEF, ECF)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases
• Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
