Overview:
***This position will be physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervision of the ESH Manager, the Pest Management Supervisor is responsible to the assigned Manager in performance of their duties.
Assigns work to and oversees work being accomplished by Pest Controllers. Assures safety practices are followed.
Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Residential, commercial, and industrial pest management services, and the safe and efficient operation of industry particular equipment for LOGCAP V AOR.
Must be knowledgeable of laws governing the application of controlled and non-controlled pesticides and herbicides.
Coordinates work/inspections with facility managers/occupants.
Research materials and prepares necessary documents.
Responds to emergency service calls during regular hours or after-duty on-call hours.

Must be able to supervise the activities of multi-national and culturally diverse work force. Possess knowledge of safety and environmental and pesticide handling. Accustomed to dealing with IPM

Must be knowledgeable of laws governing the application of controlled and non-controlled pesticides and herbicides Coordinates work/inspections with facility managers/occupants.

Provides educational awareness of pest management practices through instructing/providing technician training.

Manages staff to ensure safe, ethical, and robust procedures are followed in accordance with regulatory guidance.
Qualifications:
- Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have vast knowledge and background in Integrated Pest Management techniques and implementation.

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in Pest Management supervisor capacity

Must obtain respiratory program certification within the 90-day probationary period and annually thereafter. At a minimum, must have either a commercial/non-commercial or Department of Defense certified applicator license. Primary certification must be for Industrial, Institutional, and Household Pest Control. Other certifications can come from the following (listed in the preferred order): Ornamental and Turf Pest Control, Wood-Destroying Organisms Pest Control, Aquatic Pest Control, Public Health Pest Control: GROUND, and Right-of-Way Pest Control.
