Pest Control Technician

Job Overview
Join our local, family-owned Pest Control team as a Technician and become a vital part of safeguarding homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests.

This paid position offers the opportunity to develop valuable skills in pest management while working outdoors and engaging with homeowners.

Experience is a plus, but we are happy to train anyone who is self motivated and ready to work.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
• Apply appropriate pest control treatments using sprays, baits, traps, and other tools in accordance with safety standards
• Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend ongoing maintenance plans
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments performed, and client interactions for compliance and follow-up
• Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience in pest control is desirable, but not required. We are willing to train you.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels
• Basic knowledge of sales techniques is a plus for promoting services and upselling maintenance plans

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
