Pet Care Specialist

Overview
We are searching for a long-term dog walker, ideally one who would be open to overnight pet sitting as well. This is a 1099'd position; it's $15 per 30 minute walk, $18 per 45 minutes walk, and $22 for an hour walk. You'll have a route around your location to travel from dog to dog, so you must have your own car. This is a great opportunity for those who want a flexible schedule, a healthy lifestyle with daily walking, and have a love for animals and great client care.

Duties

• Walk dogs on a regular schedule, no matter the weather conditions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care.
• Clean up after dogs during walks.
• Monitor dogs for any signs of illness or injury and report to the owner.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, including regular updates on their pets' activities and behavior.

Experience

• Previous experience working with animals in roles such as veterinary technician assistant, kennel attendant, pet groomer, or pet sitter is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to safely move animals or supplies.
• Strong communication skills combined with a genuine passion for animal care are essential for success in this role. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in pet care while making a meaningful difference in pets’ lives every day!

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
