Pawsatively Golden Pet Care is hiring dependable, experienced pet care professionals in the Wilmington area, including Carolina Beach, Leland, Southport, Oak Island, Burgaw, and Hampstead.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional pet care or animal handling experience
• Availability for overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 or older
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be able to handle dogs who pull, walk in all weather conditions, climb stairs, and lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, check-ins, updates, and communication
• Must be professional, detail-oriented, and reliable

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-home pet sitting and dog walking services
• Follow detailed care instructions and routines
• Administer medications as directed
• Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral changes
• Complete clear, accurate visit notes and communication after each visit
• Respect clients’ homes and maintain a high standard of professionalism

Preferred:

• Pet First Aid/CPR certification
• Certifications in animal behavior, body language, or positive reinforcement handling

This is a serious pet care role for someone who understands the responsibility of working in clients’ homes and caring for their pets.
