Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Petroleum Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and optimizing oil and gas field operations, including reservoir performance, well design, production strategies, and field development planning. The role requires strong analytical abilities, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in upstream petroleum operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze reservoir data and evaluate production performance.
- Design and recommend well completion, stimulation, and intervention programs.
- Develop and optimize production strategies to maximize recovery.
- Monitor and troubleshoot well performance to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare technical reports, forecasts, and field development proposals.
- Coordinate with drilling, geoscience, and production teams on integrated field planning.
- Conduct reservoir simulations and decline curve analysis.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in oil and gas production, reservoir engineering, or field operations.
- Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles.
- Experience with petroleum engineering software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel, OFM, MBAL, Prosper, GAP) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of artificial lift systems and production optimization.
- Familiarity with well testing, well integrity, and stimulation techniques.
- Experience in integrated asset modeling (IAM) is an advantage.
- Ability to prepare and present technical documentation.
