JOB DESCRIPTION: PGT ENGLISH TEACHER

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Location: Kasna, Sirsa
Experience: 4–5 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

• Teach English to senior secondary classes (Class XI & XII) as per CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive and engaging lesson plans.
• Develop students’ advanced reading, writing, literature, and critical thinking skills.
• Prepare students for board examinations with focused academic planning and assessments.
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and evaluations; maintain academic records.
• Guide students in projects, presentations, debates, and literary activities.
• Provide academic counseling and feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum development, teacher trainings, and academic meetings.
• Support school functions, examinations, and co-curricular activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• Post Graduate degree in English (M.A. English).
• B.Ed. mandatory.
• Minimum 4–5 years of teaching experience as a PGT English Teacher.
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent command over English language.
• Experience in board exam preparation and result-oriented teaching.
• Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching tools.
