Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and instructional strategies for effective learning.
- Conduct practical sessions in the Physics laboratory, ensuring safety protocols.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, worksheets, and conduct periodic assessments.
- Evaluate students’ performance and maintain academic records regularly.
- Prepare students for board exams, competitive exams (JEE/NEET), and school-level competitions.
B. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline, a positive learning environment, and healthy student–teacher relationships.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies (ICT tools, demonstrations, experiments).
- Identify learning gaps and support students through remedial classes.
C. Administrative & School Duties
- Maintain lab equipment, stock register, and ensure timely requisition for materials.
- Participate in school events, assemblies, parent–teacher meetings, and academic planning.
- Assist the examination department in invigilation and paper correction.
- Handle responsibilities assigned by the HOD/Principal from time to time.
**2. Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge of CBSE Physics syllabus for Grades 11 & 12.
- Good communication skills and ability to use technology effectively.
3. Skills & Competencies
- In-depth conceptual clarity and ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in conducting Physics experiments and handling lab apparatus.
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit.
- Ability to guide students for competitive exams.
4. Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a PGT Physics teacher in a CBSE school (preferred).
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply (as per school policy).
