We are seeking a talented Pharma Content Writer & Social Media Expert to craft compelling content and drive engagement across digital channels — with a strong focus on LinkedIn and other B2B pharma platforms. As part of a digital-first team supporting a leading B2B pharma marketplace, your work will directly contribute to industry visibility, lead generation, and thought leadership positioning.
You’ll be responsible for both writing high-value pharma content (blogs, press releases, interviews, insights) and distributing it via strategic social media engagement, building relationships with decision-makers, and enhancing the brand’s digital footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Writing & Development:
- Write high-quality, technically accurate, and engaging content tailored for pharma B2B stakeholders
- Blog posts, industry news, insights, white papers, press releases, interviews, case studies
- Simplify complex pharma/healthcare topics for informed yet non-technical business audiences
- Align content with the buyer journey to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
Social Media Engagement:
- Create and manage posts, campaigns, and conversations on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
- Engage with pharma professionals, industry groups, and company pages to boost visibility
- Monitor industry trends and use social media to position the company as a thought leader
- Schedule and manage content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or native platforms
Content Distribution & Optimization:
- Distribute content via digital channels including social media, email newsletters, and partner platforms
- Track performance metrics and continuously optimize based on engagement and conversion KPIs
- Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with product launches, events, and industry cycles
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure unified messaging
- Support ABM (Account-Based Marketing) campaigns with targeted content for key pharma accounts
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, pharma market trends, and digital marketing innovations
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in content writing (preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry)
- Proficiency in managing professional social media accounts — especially LinkedIn
- Strong command of written English, with attention to tone, style, and audience relevance
- Basic knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and B2B buyer personas
- Familiarity with the pharma ecosystem: manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, etc.
Good to Have:
- Understanding of industry compliance and regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, CDSCO, etc.)
- Exposure to B2B marketing funnels, lead nurturing, or email campaign strategies
