Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Social Media Manager who brings 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience managing social channels, plus strong editing skills (text, image, basic video). You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategy, producing and polishing content, and ensuring that all output is brand‑consistent, engaging, error‑free, and optimized for performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company goals (brand awareness, engagement, lead gen, conversions etc.).
- Plan, build and maintain content calendars for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Create, edit, publish and monitor content: captions, posts, stories, carousels, reels, short videos etc.
- Polish content for clarity, correctness, tone, and brand voice (proofreading, copy‑editing).
- Edit visual assets: basic image editing (cropping, resizing, color correction), basic video editing (clips, transitions, subtitles), ensuring consistent look and feel.
- Oversee or coordinate with graphic / video designers as needed, but able to execute edits yourself to meet timelines.
- Manage community engagement: respond to comments / messages, monitor conversations and sentiment.
- Execute / oversee paid social media campaigns; set up, monitor, optimize budgets and creatives.
- Track, analyze and report on metrics: reach, engagement, conversion, follower growth, sentiment etc.; derive actionable insights and iterate.
- Stay updated with the latest social media / content trends, tools, platform features / algorithm changes.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints: voice, visual style, typography, color palette etc.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with content, design, product, marketing, PR teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4‑6 years experience in social media management / digital marketing, with demonstrable results.
- Strong editing skills: copy‑editing / proofreading; firm grasp of grammar, tone, spelling; ability to refine messaging.
- Proficiency in visual content editing: tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent; video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or even mobile‑first tools like CapCut / InShot etc).
- Solid copywriting ability: writing for different platforms, adapting tone; ability to write compelling captions, scripts etc.
- Experienced with social media tools / platforms: social scheduling tools, analytics dashboards, monitoring tools.
- Understanding of platform best practices (formats, dimensions, video specs, captions, hashtags etc.).
- Analytical skills: ability to read performance data, draw insights, and optimize content and strategy.
- Good sense of visual design: layout, composition, color, imagery.
- Excellent project / time management skills: able to juggle multiple content pieces, deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to give/receive feedback.
