Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Shalby Hospitals

Reports To: Pharmacy In-charge / Unit Head

Job Purpose:

To ensure safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medicines to patients while maintaining compliance with hospital protocols, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines as per prescription and doctor’s instructions.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of medicines.
• Check expiry dates, batch numbers, and ensure quality control.
• Provide correct dosage instructions and basic medication guidance to patients.
• Coordinate with doctors and nurses for timely availability of drugs.
• Handle billing and documentation related to pharmacy transactions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and drug regulations.
• Maintain records as per statutory and audit requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of drugs, dosages, and pharmacy operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.Pharm / M.Pharm with valid Registration Certificate.
• 1–5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Freshers with valid registration can also apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
