Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Incharge to oversee the daily operations of our hospital pharmacy. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of pharmacy management, medication handling, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of medicines and consumables.
• Verify prescriptions and dispense medications accurately.
• Ensure adherence to all drug safety protocols, legal regulations, and hospital policies.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and proper storage of medicines.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for medication requirements.
• Maintain purchase records, GRN, billing, and stock audits.
• Train and guide pharmacy staff for efficient performance.
• Handle vendor management, price negotiations, and shortage management.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of essential and emergency medicines.

Qualifications

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm / Pharm.D (Mandatory)
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in hospital pharmacy settings
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Sound knowledge of drug formulary, procurement, and pharmacy management software
