Oversee and prioritize workflow of pharmacy technicians.

Assists with preparing and dispensing medication under the direction and oversight of a Pharmacist.

Prepacks for the floor bulk medications, fill bottles with prescribed medications and affix labels.

Responds to questions or requests. Directs inquires as needed to various departments.

Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.

Orders, labels, and counts stock of medications, chemicals, or supplies.

Receives and stores incoming supplies, verifies quantities against invoices, checks for outdated medications in current inventory and informs supervisor of stock needs and shortages.

Assists with special projects as needed.

Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.

Weekends not required!

High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:

Pharmacy Technician as required by State regulatory requirements.
Experience:
-
One (1) to three (3) years’ pharmacy technician experience. Healthcare, senior living industry, assisted living, pharmacy or long-term care environment preferred.

Meet Board of Pharmacy licensing and/or registration requirements for the state in which they work

Minimum one (1) year multi-facility experience preferred.

QS1 experience preferred.

Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
