We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician with a background in chemistry and compounding. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of pharmacy work. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for counting and organizing medications and ensuring that all medications are labeled and logged into our patient database. The compounding traning will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient needs and answer questions.
• Follow company rules and regulations in regard to prescription refills, expired prescriptions, and drug interactions, compounding preparations.
• Provide routine pharmacy services such as answering phones, getting patients information from referring physician, interacting with insurance companies and filling prescriptions.
• Maintain inventory of prescription medications and over the counter drugs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
