Summary :
The Pharmacy Technician I supports pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in medication preparations and dispensing. This role involves handling prescription orders, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service. The Pharmacy Technician I also participates in inventory management and ensures compliance with safety regulations, contributing to efficient pharmacy workflow and enhanced patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Receiving and processing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, measuring and counting medication, labeling and packaging medications and providing information to patients about their medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Administration Tasks: Process insurance claims, collect patient payments, maintain patient records, and answering phone calls and customer questions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ordering and receiving new stock, checking for expired medications, completing daily cycle counts, and between site transfers.
- Maintain a clean orderly work environment.
- Adhere to pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

- No previous experience required.Previous retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
