Pharmacy Technician (Part-time)

Part-time Pharmacy Technician position available in a team-oriented, family owned & operated retail pharmacy in Paoli, PA. Competitive compensation package based on experience and credentials. Pharmacy Technician Certification and/or registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required. Successful candidates will pass a background check. Position is for weekdays (daytime shift) and Saturdays (9-3), total of 12-18 hours/week.

Position Tasks:

• Assisting the pharmacist(s) in the filling, verification, and filing of prescriptions
• Assisting patients in person and on the phone
• Communicating via phone with medical professionals and insurance companies
• Inventory management
• Keeping the pharmacy tidy and well-stocked of all supplies
• Prescription intake as well as checking out the patient once their prescription is complete
• Additional tasks as necessary

Position Requirements:

• at least 18 years of age
• high school diploma or GED
• ability to thrive in a quick-paced environment with periods of high traffic volume
• excellent customer service skills
• computer skills necessary (prior point-of-sale experience is a plus)
• ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
• ability to multitask
• strong attention to detail
• Pharmacy Technician Certification and/or Registration with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
