Picture This Organized is a premium photo management business offering full services for our clients’ lifetimes of photos and videos. Following a detailed, proven workflow, we create organized collections. Our clients can rest assured that their photos, videos, memorabilia, and family artifacts are safe and shareable with family and future generations. The luxury albums we design are customized representations of our client's personal stories, allowing them to share their treasured photos with family and friends.

Office hours are 9-5. Work is performed in a Denver Tech Center, Greenwood Village, Colorado office suite. REMOTE WORK IS NOT AVAILABLE.

The starting pay (during training) is $23/hr. After the first 30 days, an evaluation will be done. The candidate must reach a level of proficiency to be ready for “actual” client work.

Once training is completed, pay increases to $25/hr. A job tier structure provides opportunities for advancement.

Position Summary

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Serve as the point person for print photo organizing, digital photo organizing, and scanning. Technology will be heavily utilized to support managing the client’s collection from initial inventory to delivery of the organized collection via storage devices, online photo sharing, albums, and, when feasible, in-person meetings.

Experience:

  • Digital Asset Management: 1-2 years of experience with systems
  • Project Management: experience utilizing project management tools
  • Photography: 5 years of photography experience (as an employee, a contractor, or a business owner providing photography services).
  • Video editing experience utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or iMovie
  • Note: Providing these services as a hobby does not ensure eligibility.
  • Photo Editing with Photoshop: 2 years of professional experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (required)

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Workflows

  • Follow and manage processes to ensure client preferences are maintained.
  • Follow a predefined workflow to achieve the desired results.

Print Photo Organization

  • Inventory items to determine project scope.
  • Organize items according to a predefined system.
  • Prepare items for scanning.
  • Digitizing prints and memorabilia.
  • Monitor process to ensure images stay in sequence and event order.
  • Review the quality of scans to check for dust and scratches.

Digital Photo Organization

  • Assess and review the scope of the project.
  • Utilize software to organize and remove duplicates and manage metadata.

Skills Required:

  • Detective-type qualities are needed to recognize details in a photo or group of photos to identify people, times, locations, and events.
  • Some research may be necessary to support management’s ability to verify/confirm the client’s timelines and event recollections.
  • Aptitude for quickly learning and implementing new technology and programs that support predefined workflows.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Mac platforms.
  • Knowledge/understanding of Excel and PC platforms is helpful (but not a deal breaker).
  • Photo editing experience using Photoshop to restore, correct, or enhance a client’s images.
  • Detail-oriented, strives to achieve quality/error-free work.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Willingness to ask for help once workflows and resources no longer work to solve a problem.
  • Friendly (yet professional) on the phone and in written correspondence (email and when requested/required text).
  • Ability and willingness to work independently and in a team capacity.
  • Passion for photos and the stories and history they share.
  • Natural curiosity to understand the story behind the photos.
  • Photographic recall of details within a family collection to maintain organization or recognize items out of context.
