Photo Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Photo Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, video production, and post-production processes. This role involves capturing high-quality images and videos, editing content, and assisting with various projects that enhance our brand's visual storytelling. The Photo Associate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all visual content aligns with our artistic vision and marketing strategies.

Duties

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos for various projects, including product shoots, events, and promotional materials.
• Edit and manipulate images using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Capture One to achieve desired aesthetics.
• Manage color correction and color management throughout the editing process to ensure consistency across all visual content.
• Collaborate with the creative team on art direction and concept development for photo shoots and video projects.
• Assist in filming video content, including promotional videos, tutorials, and social media clips.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar software for video editing and post-production tasks.
• Maintain an organized library of digital assets, ensuring easy access for future projects.
• Engage in social media management by creating visually appealing content that enhances our online presence.
• Stay updated on current trends in photography, videography, and social media to implement innovative ideas.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere) is essential.
• Strong understanding of photography techniques, including composition and lighting.
• Experience in photo editing and manipulation with a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of color theory and color management practices.
• Familiarity with video production processes including filming techniques and post-production editing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Sales experience is a plus to assist in promoting photography services or products.
• Background in journalism or social media management is beneficial for creating engaging content.
