Photographer

Moss Motors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Photographer to produce high-quality visual content that supports our automotive sales and marketing efforts. This role focuses primarily on studio and on-site vehicle photography, ensuring all images meet brand standards for web, digital listings, and print use.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in lighting, composition, and post-production editing, with hands-on experience in clipping paimagery, showroom photography, vehicle walkarounds, and occasional video content.ths, retouching, color correction, and image composition. This role plays a key part in presenting Moss Motors’ inventory and brand with accuracy, consistency, and visual appeal across all marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Studio & Product Photography

• Capture high-quality product images in a controlled studio setting, ensuring consistent lighting and sharp detail.
• Set up studio lighting and composition for optimal product presentation.
• Maintain and organize photography equipment and studio space for efficiency and quality control.

Photo Editing & Retouching

• Edit and retouch photos for web and print marketing, including color correction, background removal, and enhancement.
• Create and apply clipping paths to ensure clean and precise product cutouts.
• Composite multiple images when needed for advanced photo compositions.

Additional Photography Needs

• Capture lifestyle and vehicle photography for marketing campaigns as needed.
• Ensure all images align with brand aesthetics and storytelling goals.

Videography & Other Creative Tasks

• Assist with video production, including lighting setup and basic video editing.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create engaging visual content.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High-level photography experience, preferably in studio product photography.
• Proficiency in CaptureOne, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other image editing software.
• Strong understanding of studio lighting techniques and ability to create a variety of looks for different products.
• Experience with photo compositing, retouching, and clipping paths.
• Basic knowledge of videography and video editing is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with marketing and creative teams.

Preferred Equipment & Tool Experience:

• DSLR and mirrorless camera systems (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc.)
• Studio lighting setups (strobes, continuous lights, softboxes, reflectors)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro for video)
• Tethered shooting software (Capture One, Adobe Lightroom)
