Photographer (Independent Contractor)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Photographer + Videographer (Independent Contractor) to capture compelling visual content that elevates our brand, team, and opportunity to partner with us. As a freelance professional, you will bring your artistic vision and technical expertise to produce high-quality photographs and videos for our Mentorship program

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute photo and video footage for social media, website, and marketing campaigns
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand creative direction, brand voice, and campaign goals
• Capture both staged and candid imagery, including treatments, client experiences, product, and environmental shots
• Deliver edited, high-resolution images optimized for various platforms (social, web, email)
• Manage lighting, composition, and equipment to ensure a polished, consistent visual standard
• Maintain an organized archive of photo assets
• Stay current with visual trends and propose new creative concepts

Experience

• Proven experience in professional photography and videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across different styles and formats
• Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, along with video editing tools like Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro
• Knowledge of color management systems and color theory to produce visually cohesive content
• Familiarity with social media management strategies to optimize content for various platforms
• Experience in art direction or journalism is a plus, showcasing your ability to tell stories through compelling imagery
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows including photo manipulation, video production, and sound editing
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients or creative teams while managing multiple projects independently
