Photographer Tour Guide

Duties

• Lead informative and lively guided tours, sharing insights about local culture, history, and photography tips to enhance guest experience
• Capture high-quality photographs and videos during tours using professional equipment, ensuring vibrant color management and artistic composition
• Edit and post-process images and videos utilizing Lightroom, Capcut, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or other Photo Editing tools to produce polished content
• May include managing social media accounts by creating engaging visual stories that promote the tour destinations and attract new customers
• Direct guests with posing, photo manipulation techniques, and art direction to help them achieve their desired shots
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth tour operations while maintaining safety protocols at all times
• Contribute to marketing efforts by developing captivating visual content that highlights the scenic beauty of each location
• Compensation hourly range $20-$40 per hour + Bonus Commission

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk around each location directing mini-photoshoots at each
• Must have reliable clean vehicle for these are private tours typically 4 guests or less
• Personal car will be used to partake in tours including pick up/drop off
• Proven experience in photography, videography, drone or related fields such as journalism or art direction
• Preferred Proficiency with photo editing software including Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture One; video editing skills using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro are highly desirable
• Strong understanding of color theory and color management techniques for both photo and video production
• Knowledge of post-production workflows for photography and videography projects
• Excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences and provide informative guidance during tours
• Ability to operate professional camera equipment and lighting gear confidently
• Must maintain proper hygiene and look sharp
• Passion for travel, storytelling, and sharing cultural insights through compelling visual content
• Experience managing social media platforms to promote tourism or creative projects is a plus
