PHP Developer

A Senior PHP Developer should have extensive experience in PHP development and WordPress plugin development, a deep understanding of PHP, SQL, and object-oriented programming, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.they must also be proficient in:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
• Write robust, scalable, and secure PHP code.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to understand and implement plugin requirements.
• Optimize database queries and manage data using SQL.
• Implement AJAX functionality to enhance user interaction and experience.
• Work with vanilla JavaScript for front-end development tasks.
• Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and adhering to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PHP and WordPress development.

Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline.

Requirement:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Senior PHP Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, including experience with object-oriented programming.
• Extensive proven experience in WordPress plugin development.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management.
• Experience working with WP-CLI.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Experience with LESS, SASS, Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
• Familiarity with AJAX and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong understanding of PHP frameworks would be plus.
