Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Core PHP and MySQL/SQL.
• Work with Linux-based environments for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for data exchange and integrations.
• Implement and maintain web scraping scripts for data collection and automation tasks.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Perform query optimization and database tuning for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain applications to ensure high performance and security.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable backend solutions with basic frontend integration.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP, SQL, and Linux development practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong knowledge of Core PHP (OOP) and SQL/MySQL.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments (command line, server setup, cron jobs).
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Basic proficiency in HTML and CSS for frontend adjustments.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and working in collaborative teams.
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable code with clear documentation.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with web scraping tools/libraries (e.g., cURL, Guzzle, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, or similar).
• Knowledge of shell scripting or automation in Linux.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (PHPUnit or similar).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Understanding of basic security practices in PHP and SQL.

Location

• Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
