PHP / WordPress Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP / WordPress Developer to join our team onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development with extensive experience in WordPress theme and plugin development. As a PHP / WordPress Developer, you will work on developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are high-performing, secure, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize WordPress themes and templates to meet client requirements.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement modern and responsive web designs.
• Develop custom plugins and features to enhance website functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and compliant with best practices.
• Regularly update and maintain WordPress core, plugins, and themes.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in PHP and WordPress development.
• Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
• Familiarity with WordPress security best practices and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce development.
• Familiarity with other content management systems (CMS).
• Experience with REST APIs and integration.
• Knowledge of SEO tools and optimization techniques for WordPress.
