Physical Therapist

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, injuries, or disabilities to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall functional ability. The Physical Therapist develops individualized treatment plans, monitors patient progress, and collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and clinical findings.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise programs, and functional mobility training.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Active state Physical Therapist license in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
