Job Summary

Job description/Responsibilities: Per-Diem AM Shift APPROXIMATE PAY RANGE: $25.88 - $35.82 Under direct supervision of the Physical or Occupational Therapist is responsible for assisting in the preparation for and treatment of patients, set-up and clean up of patient care areas, and clerical tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Set up and clean up patient care areas Assists therapists with patient treatments as delegated Performs maintenance therapy under general supervision as assigned by the therapist Communicates with the therapist regarding patient status Manages and maintains equipment inventory Performs clerical tasks as assigned Attends staff meetings Demonstrates flexibility to meet department and hospital needs Participates in unit growth and department education Takes initiative and responsibility for assigned tasks Other Duties Performs wound care as delegated by the PT Participates in clinical instruction of affiliating students Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Director, Rehabilitation/Occupational Services.

Required Qualification: 1. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. 2. Sexual Harassment/ Bullying Prevention Certification required. (1 month from hire) 3. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 4. Minimum one year of hospital Physical Therapy Aide experience or equivalent preferred. **No Referrals or Candidates Accepted from Recruiters or Agencies.
