Physician Assistant

Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) - Sleep Medicine

Location: Boise, ID and Nampa, ID

Job Type: Part-Time (2 days per week); no call requirements, no weekends/after hours requirements.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with sleep disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage therapies for sleep disorders, such as CPAP for sleep apnea.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients on sleep hygiene and lifestyle modifications to improve sleep quality.
• Provide education on sleep disorders and treatment options.
• Support patients in understanding and adhering to their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
• Coordinate care with other specialists as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in sleep medicine.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Idaho.
• Previous experience in sleep medicine or a related field is preferred
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

· Base + productivity bonus model
