Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in Springfield, MO. The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing a range of health conditions in a family practice setting. Responsibilities will include conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, coordinating care, and providing patient education to ensure optimal health outcomes. The position will involve collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to patients.

Qualifications

• Clinical competencies in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Strong skills in patient education, counseling, and communication to promote wellness and preventative care
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare documentation systems
• Experience in performing routine medical procedures and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a clinical setting
• Active Physician Assistant certification and licensure in the state of Missouri required
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or an equivalent program
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centric approach to care
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or primary care is preferred
