Physician Assistant

Position Overview:

4 DAY WORK WEEK

Our growing pulmonary practice is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide in-person care within specialized long-term ventilator units in Gloucester County, NJ, with a hybrid component including office-based care in our Sewell location.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and our pulmonary physicians to deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to complex patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily rounds within long-term ventilator units
• Manage and evaluate an average of 15–25 patients per day
• Collaborate with pulmonary physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Review, order, and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
• Provide pulmonary consults and follow-up care within facilities
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Be available by phone during the day for clinical staff support

Schedule & Work Structure:

• Primary setting: In-person at nursing facilities
• Hybrid flexibility: Once fully comfortable, rounding is typically completed by midday with the ability to finish documentation remotely
• Office component: Occasional in-office days at our Sewell location (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Call schedule: 1:5 rotation shared with four other providers

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Comfort managing medically complex patients
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in pulmonary, critical care, or SNF settings preferred (but not required)

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
