We are looking for a Physician Assistant for our HAMILTON and EWING NJ clinics to provide outstanding patient care and urgent care services. We are looking for someone with ideally 2 years experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or ER setting. ---Clinic operates 7 days a week; Weekdays 8am-8pm & weekends 8am-5pm. Providers work 3 to 4 shifts a week.

Responsibilities

  • Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment. All medically related functions performed by a Physician Assistant are to be performed under the supervision of a licensed physician.
  • Orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interpret test results for deviation from normal and Performs therapeutic procedures such as I&D;, splinting, suturing, managing infection, and wound care.
  • Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.
  • Ability to see patients of all ages.
  • Prescribes medications and treatment regimens as appropriate. Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as needed.
  • Counsel and follow-up patient care

Required

  • Current New Jersey Physician Assistant License.
  • Board Certification
  • 1 to 2 year Clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine , emergency medicine.
  • Well versed with federal, state and NJ laws and regulations including the requirements of the HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Be well-organized and demonstrates a clear understanding of the patient needs.
  • Team player who maintains excellent working relationships with rest of the staff.
  • Focus and drive to complete goals and go beyond the everyday responsibilities.
  • Follows standards of business conduct and compliance.
