The Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and growing relationships with physician practices, independent health care providers, and the physician staff. This individual enhances communication and acts as a key resource between Giving Home Health Care and physician offices.

Contact physician offices and demonstrating the highest level of customer service and respect to build a partnership with a physician that patients may be referred to.

Learn program policies and procedures, billing processes, and other functions of Giving Home Health Care.

Provide information and training to medical offices.

Perform daily prospecting, rapport building, and conducting follow ups. Develop outreach strategies and target lists to manage/document ongoing physician outreach activity.

Continually develop medical knowledge to effectively engage with healthcare professionals.

Communicate urgency to physicians to assess patients and start process to have illnesses approved or declined for program.
