Job Description

Location: In-Kingdom

Department: Operations Department

Reports To: Foreman Piping / Project Manager

Job Summary: A Pipe Fitter is responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems in industrial, commercial, or residential projects. This includes interpreting blueprints, measuring, cutting, threading, and welding pipes to ensure safe and efficient fluid, gas, or chemical transport.

Key Responsibilities: - Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and installation of piping systems. - Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. - Install and maintain piping systems for water, gas, oil, chemicals, and other fluids. - Inspect pipes for defects or leaks and perform maintenance, repair, or replacement as necessary. - Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications. - Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time. - Maintain records of materials used, work completed, and report progress to supervisors. - Operate and maintain pipe-fitting equipment, tools, and machinery. - Perform pressure testing on piping systems to verify integrity and safety.

Qualifications / Skills: - Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial, commercial, or construction settings. - Proficient with hand tools, welding equipment, and pipe-fitting machinery. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. - Knowledge of safety procedures and relevant building codes. - Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and work in various environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Certification in pipe fitting, welding, or mechanical maintenance is an advantage.

Working Conditions: - May work indoors or outdoors, at heights, or in confined spaces. - Exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials. - May require shift work, overtime, or weekend work depending on project needs.

Other Requirements: - CWQAP is mandatory for Saudi Aramco Projects. If (Engineer/Technician) in profession must register with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
