Pipefitter

Job Overview
Preferred Industrial Contractors is hiring experienced Pipefitters to join our team. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in heavy industrial construction projects.

Duties:

• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe
• Lay out and install piping systems per blueprints and isometric drawings
• Install hangers, supports, valves, and related components
• Fit and align piping for welding and mechanical connections
• Inspect and test systems for leaks and proper alignment
• Read and interpret P&IDs, spool drawings, and field sketches
• Follow all company and site safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience
• Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and API standards
• Ability to read blueprints and work safely in industrial environments

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
• Must pass required drug/alcohol screening

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $32.00 per hour
