Pipefitter

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using power tools and pipe threading machines
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to determine pipe measurements and angles
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks or malfunctions
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as welders and HVAC technicians, to complete projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites

Experience:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a pipefitter or in a related field
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Knowledge of pipe threading techniques and equipment operation
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe dimensions
- Experience with welding processes, including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and stick welding

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
