Pipeline Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a Pipeline Construction Supervisor to oversee field operations for the construction and installation of water, oil, and gas pipelines. This role is responsible for managing the site crew, ensuring work complies with project specifications and safety standards, and maintaining the project schedule. The position reports to the Site Manager or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct crews in the installation, alignment, and welding of pipelines.
• Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure construction adherence.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials, equipment, and personnel to the work site.
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and site safety briefings with the crew.
• Oversee trenching, lowering-in, padding, and backfilling operations.
• Ensure all welding, coating, and testing activities meet required quality standards.
• Complete daily progress reports, timesheets, and incident reports as required.
• Liaise with project management, client representatives, and quality inspectors on site.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred.
• Proven work experience as a Pipeline Supervisor, Foreman, or a similar leadership role in pipeline construction.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline construction techniques, standards, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
• Experience with welding procedures, non-destructive testing (NDT), and coating applications.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to and reside at remote project sites as required.
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are required.
