Position Summary

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pipeline Designer based in Lahore . The Pipeline Designer is responsible for developing detailed pipeline design drawings, alignment sheets, and related deliverables for oil and gas projects. The role involves coordination with engineers, survey teams, and other disciplines to ensure all designs meet project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·        Develop and prepare pipeline alignment sheets, plan & profile drawings, Station

approach drawings using AutoCAD or related design software.

·        Support the engineering team in route selection, material take-offs (MTOs), and as-built drawings.

·        Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for interface design requirements.

·        Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and drawing records.

·        Apply pipeline design standards such as ASME B31.4, B31.8, API codes, and corporate specifications

·        Prepare & develop trenching details, Crossing details, Standard drawings, Anchor Block etc.

·        Support and mentor junior designers, and provide guidance during the Design phase.

·        Participate in Desktop studies, design reviews, and constructability assessments.

Qualifications

·        DAE in Mechanical or Equivalent degree.

·        5-7 years of experience in pipeline design within the oil & gas or energy sector.

·        Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D etc.

·        Strong understanding of pipeline routing, design codes, and drafting standards.

·        Ability to interpret engineering documents, P&IDs, and specifications.

·        Excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.

·        Strong communication and documentation abilities.
