design and development officer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design and Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing new products, improving existing designs, and supporting innovation throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of new products and product improvements.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo).
• Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct product testing, performance evaluations, and design validation.
• Participate in material selection and cost optimization activities.
• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and R&D activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in product design, development, or R&D (fresh graduates with strong design skills may also apply).
• With relevent diploma and experience also encourage to apply.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a passion for innovation.
