• Design and Analysis: Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and support plans, using CAD tools like AutoCAD. Perform mechanical, thermal, and vibration stress analyses to ensure system integrity.
• Technical Specifications: Write detailed technical specifications for piping components, materials, and equipment.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all designs and systems comply with relevant industry standards, such as ASME and EN.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, civil, instrumentation) to integrate piping systems into the overall project design.
• Project Support: Provide technical support during the construction and pre-commissioning phases, assisting with fabrication and testing.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor fabrication, testing, and acceptance of equipment, maintain quality records, and participate in quality reviews.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to minimize material quantities and costs while maintaining safety and efficiency.
• Safety & Environment: Adhere to project safety and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of piping systems, fluid dynamics, material properties, and relevant design codes.
• Software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and specialized piping design/analysis tools.
• Project Management: Skills in monitoring progress, managing schedules, and generating reports.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, team spirit, and problem-solving abilities
