Job Description
Designs, constructs, and maintains pipeline systems for transporting oil, gas, or other materials, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include project management, performing technical analyses, preparing design specifications, and overseeing construction and repairs. The role requires strong math and problem-solving skills, a background in mechanical or civil engineering, and proficiency with computer-aided design software.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
- Knowledge of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and material science.
- Effective communication (written and verbal).
