Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station to meet health regulations
• Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings to enhance offerings
• Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt and friendly food service
• Monitor cooking times and quality control to ensure consistent product excellence

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with menu planning and catering is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
• A passion for culinary arts, fine dining experience preferred but not essential
