Placement Coordinator (Coorporate Relations)

Job Overview

IOTA Academy is looking for an experienced and proactive Placement Coordinator to manage student placement activities and drive successful placement outcomes. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in placements, recruitment, HR, or talent acquisition and possess strong communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills.

This role requires regular interaction with students, recruiters, hiring managers, and corporate partners to ensure smooth execution of placement activities and maximize placement opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule interviews between students and hiring companies.
• Build and maintain relationships with recruiters, employers, and corporate partners.
• Assist students with resume building, profile enhancement, interview preparation, and mock interviews.
• Track and update daily placement activities, interview status, selections, and placement outcomes.
• Maintain accurate placement records and reports using Google Sheets and MS Excel.
• Support employer outreach, follow-ups, and job opportunity sourcing.
• Ensure students are interview-ready and aligned with employer requirements.
• Communicate regularly with students regarding job openings, interview schedules, and placement updates.
• Coordinate placement drives, hiring events, and recruitment activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to improve student placement performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Placement Coordination, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR, or Corporate Relations.
• Proven experience in coordinating interviews and working with employers or recruiters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Experience in the education, training, or skilling industry will be an added advantage.

Salary

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on interview performance, experience, and skills)
