Role: Placement Manager – NICMAR Online

Experience: 5-10 years

Preferred Location: Western Line (Mumbai)

🟦 ROLE OVERVIEW

The Placement Manager will be responsible for acquiring hiring partners , building strong employer relationships, and ensuring successful placements of NICMAR Online learners within defined SLAs/TAT . The role demands a proactive, energetic individual with strong client-facing capabilities, deep HR networks, and passion for enabling career outcomes for learners in the construction, infrastructure, and real estate ecosystem.

The Placement Manager will act as the bridge between industry hiring needs and the NICMAR Online learner pool , ensuring every learner receives structured placement support, interview opportunities, and career guidance.


🟧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Employer Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify, outreach, and onboard companies across construction, infrastructure, BIM, project management, consultancy, real estate, EPC, and related domains.
  • Conduct regular client meetings (virtual + in-person) to pitch NICMAR Online programs and talent pool.
  • Build a strong pipeline of hiring partners for fresher, internship, and early-career roles .
  • Maintain an active database of HR heads, Talent Acquisition leads, and Hiring Managers .
  • Create talent proposals, share learner profiles, and negotiate hiring partnerships where required.


2. Placement Operations & Execution

  • Ensure minimum interview opportunities per learner as per the placement promise.
  • Align hiring requirements with eligible learners based on skill fit, domain, and location preference.
  • Manage the full placement cycle:
  • JD requirement gathering
  • Screening learner profiles
  • Scheduling interviews
  • Follow-ups with recruiters
  • Offer coordination
  • Final onboarding
  • Track offer conversions and ensure placement assistance continues until TAT is met.


3. Learner Coordination & Career Support

  • Conduct placement orientation sessions and 1:1 readiness discussions.
  • Work with training/operations teams for:
  • Resume building
  • LinkedIn optimisation
  • Mock interviews
  • Soft skills improvement
  • Ensure timely communication to learners regarding interview schedules, outcomes, and next steps.


4. Data Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain dashboards for:
  • Employer outreach
  • Interviews scheduled
  • Selection ratios
  • Offers made
  • TAT compliance
  • Provide weekly and monthly placement reports to leadership.


5. Relationship Management

  • Nurture long-term relationships with hiring partners for recurring talent needs.
  • Act as the single point of contact for employers and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Collect employer feedback and share insights with academic, ops, and program teams.

1. Employer Acquisition KPIs

  • Number of new hiring partners onboarded per month: 5–10
  • Active employer accounts maintained per quarter: 20–30
  • Number of client meetings per week: Minimum 10


2. Placement Delivery KPIs

  • Minimum interviews per learner: As per NICMAR Online’s placement promise (e.g., 3–5 interviews depending on program).
  • Offer conversion rate: Target 25–40% (industry benchmark).
  • Learner placement %: Program-wise target to be defined (typically 70–90%).
  • TAT Adherence:
  • Interview scheduling within 3–5 working days of receiving JD
  • Feedback within 72 hours
  • Offer closure within agreed timelines


3. Revenue/Partner Value KPIs (if applicable)

  • Repeat hiring conversion: 30–40% of partners return for additional roles.
  • Upselling opportunities: Corporate training, B2B programs (if NICMAR introduces such streams).


4. Learner Satisfaction KPIs

  • Learner satisfaction score (post-placement support): 4.0+ / 5
  • Timely communication adherence: 100% messages sent within defined SLA


5. Operational & Reporting KPIs

  • Timely update of CRM / Placement dashboards: Daily
  • Weekly report submission: On-time compliance – 100%
  • Accuracy of data: 98%+
