Planner - Civil

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
• Define project milestones, critical paths, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to establish realistic project timelines.

Project Monitoring & Control

• Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
• Track productivity and identify schedule deviations.
• Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Update project schedules regularly and maintain accurate records.

Reporting

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Generate S-curves, manpower histograms, resource loading charts, and earned value reports.
• Present project status updates to management and clients.
• Maintain planning documentation and project records.

Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to ensure activities are aligned with project schedules.
• Assist project teams in identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning-related inputs.

Risk Management

• Identify potential scheduling risks and constraints.
• Develop contingency and recovery plans to minimize project delays.
• Support claims preparation related to extensions of time (EOT) and delay analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2* years* of experience as a Planner in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project planning principles.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with project controls, resource planning, and progress measurement techniques.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
