OVERVIEW
Customer Marketing (CM) team members play a direct role in driving incremental volume at our Priority Retailers through strategy, design, and execution of customer-centric, omnichannel marketing and event programs in partnership with our Brands, Sales Teams, and Retailers.
We are seeking a Customer Marketing Planner to lead account-specific omni customer shopper for Walmart Inc. Key responsibilities for this role include development of strategy planning for priority brands, omnichannel planning and execution with retailer media teams, development of campaign/creative briefs, management of budgets, and execution of ecommerce spending through agency partners. It requires interaction and visibility with the customer merchant and marketing teams, as well as internal Sales and Operating Unit (OU) teams, and agencies. A unique aspect of this role include leadership in leading omni strategy and Co-Branded scale campaign initiatives. The role provides exposure and learning in the areas of Commerce, Strategy, Planning, External Partner Management, and Matrix Relationship Management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Lead strategy and execution of General Mills retailer shopper marketing programs and tactics with internal and external groups
- Develop shopper marketing plans and presentations, with particular emphasis on search and scale co-branded events
- Oversee creative briefs, timelines, budgets, etc. in support of shopper campaigns
- Lead and participate in key customer meetings
- Foster strong working relationships with sales and marketing team members at both General Mills and the retailer
- Maintain account level shopper marketing budget and approve invoices
- Conduct data/event analyses
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- 2 years in Brand Experience, Shopper or Brand Marketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or other relevant area of study
- History of collaboration with cross-functional teams, including agency partners
- eCommerce and Retail Media Project management expertise
- Exceptional team and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to understand marketing measurement
- Must be based in Northwest Arkansas or willing to relocate
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in developing and executing large scale account specific marketing plans
- Experience in working directly with large retailer media teams
- Experience selling to large retail customers
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience working with outside equities and partnerships
- Proactive leadership in identifying new opportunities and in managing day to day operations
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
- This role is based at our Walmart Business Center located in Northwest Arkansas. Relocation assistance will be provided.
